Letter Title: “What is Faith? Is it Blind?”
As an Ahmadi Muslim I see my community expanding daily around the world despite fierce opposition. What’s winning faith in the fastest growing religious movement in the world, founded by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the awaited Messiah? It’s not blind faith but “certainty by way of experience”. When the love isn’t one sided, unanswered at a dead end. That’s why the Qur’an 2:258 ensures “Allah is the friend of those who believe: He brings them out of every kind of darkness into light. And those who disbelieve, their friends are the transgressors who bring them out of light into every kind of darkness”. Caliph Mirza Masroor Ahmad fulfills the Quranic promise of a living light who champions peace and security in the face of fear and grief.
Where do you stand? Evaluate your life, are you in the light of certainty or the darkness of doubt?
In Islam faith in the Unseen is prescribed alongside the study of the self, nature, the cosmos, and history to unbiasedly deduce lessons, patterns, and signs that point in it’s direction and fulfillment. “But all this is achieved only through steadfastness, striving, effort and purification of the ego. He who seeks clarification of all details at the very first stage, and is not prepared to abandon his false doctrines and evil ways before such clarification, prevents himself from treading upon the path of righteousness and achieving merit” reminds Messiah Ahmad [Surmah Chashm-e-Arya, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 2, pp. 83-88].
Isn’t this how Islam heralded the Golden Age of honest discovery which set in motion the very Renaissance. Only those endowed with extrasensory vision here have vision in the life beyond death of our physical bodies. Consider how and why the Qur’an exudes precise claims proven true everyday by modern Science, inconceivable for anyone fourteen centuries ago.
Islam invites me to open my inner eye and surrender to the direction our spiritual experiences take us.

Titulo de la carta: ¿Qué es la fe? ¿Es Ciega?
Como un Ahmadi Musulmán veo a mi comunidad crecer cada día alrededor del mundo, a pesar de hacer frente a una feroz oposición. ¿Qué es lo que hace tener fe en el movimiento religiosos de mayor crecimiento en el mundo, fundado por Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, el esperado Mesías? No es fe ciega sino “certeza por el camino de la experiencia”, donde el amor no es unilateral, sin respuesta en una calle sin salida. Es por eso que el Corán asegura en el verso 2:258 “Al-lah es el amigo de los que creen: los saca de toda clase de tinieblas a la luz. Y respecto a los que no creen, sus amigos son los pecadores que los llevan desde la luz a toda clase de tinieblas.” El Califa, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, cumple la promesa coránica de ser una luz viva que defiende la paz y la seguridad frente al miedo y la aflicción.
¿Dónde se encuentra? Evalúe su vida, ¿está en la luz de la certeza o en la oscuridad de la duda?
En el Islam se establece la fe en lo Invisible junto al estudio del propio ser, la naturaleza, el universo y la historia para, imparcialmente, descubrir lecciones, patrones y signos que muestran evidencias en su dirección y a su favor. “Pero todo esto se puede alcanzar únicamente con perseverancia, constancia, y esforzándose en la purificación del ego. Quien busca la clarificación de todos los detalles en el primer momento, y no está preparado para abandonar sus falsas doctrinas y caminos maliciosos antes de recibir esta clarificación, se impide a si mismo ir por el camino de la piedad y alcanzar la virtud”, nos recuerda el Mesías Ahmad [Surmah Chashm-e-Arya, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 2, págs. 83-88].
Acaso no es así como el Islam trajo la Edad de Oro, con descubrimientos claros que pusieron en marcha el mismo Renacimiento. Sólo aquellos que han sido dotados con visión extrasensorial aquí pueden ver la vida más allá del fallecimiento de nuestros cuerpos físicos. Reflexionen en cómo el Corán destila proclamaciones precisas, que son probadas verdaderas cada día por la Ciencia moderna, pero impensables para alguien catorce siglos atrás.
El Islam me invita a abrir mi ojo interior y a mirar hacia la dirección a la que nos lleva nuestra experiencia espiritual.
